CHRISTMAS CONSPIRACY
“What do You Want for Christmas this Year?”
Luke 2:7-20
Introduction: The American Christmas tends to draw us into a “Me & My Family” centered mentality. As Believers in Christ, have we ever thought to ask a Different question?
What does Jesus want for Christmas this Year?
That You would… Worship Fully (Luke 2:7-14)
- Worship is… You are Seen and You See
- The Appreciation that you are Seen by God
- The Awareness that you See the Glory of God
That You would… Spend Less and Give More (Luke 2:15-19)
- Spending Less on You and Yours and Giving More to Jesus and His Kingdom (Matthew 6:19-21)
That You would… Love All (Luke 2:20)
- If You Love God Most, You will Love Others Best (1 John 4:19)
Application: Will Jesus get what He wants for Christmas? What does Christmas look like for a Lost and Dying World?
